W turned 2 1/2 a few weeks ago so thought I’d write a quick update even though it is late….

Since I wrote my post about what to do with old baby clothes, I’ve seen lots of queries in Cardiff Facebook groups asking where to donate baby clothes, here’s all the places I know of…

It’s been a tough few weeks, since our lovely week in Bluestone, my cousin died, mum’s been having chemo for liver cancer, my other half was ill with the flu and both boys got viruses, on top of the 4 months of sleep deprivation!
Soooo it was great to have some one-on-one time with W last Sunday, to dust off the cobwebs we headed to one of my favourite local places – mountain view ranch.

Baby S turned 4 months old on Friday. In his last update I called him a delicate flower and now I would describe him as a sensitive soul!
We’re coming to the end of wonder weeks leap 4 and so it’s been a bit up and down the last few weeks – yesterday he was really grouchy all day, today he’s not really been grouchy at all. But I call him sensitive because he can be fine one minute, and the next he can scream like I’ve never seen a scream before! Bless him 😍

It’s been nearly 4 months of parenting 2 boys so I thought I’d share with you 7 things I’ve learnt….

1 it’s not easy! So many people said to us ‘oh second time is so much easier’ and ‘the transition from 1 to 2 is much easier than 0 to 1’ Continue reading “7 things I’ve learnt after having a second child “
I first tried Childs Farm when I bought some yummy-smelling bubble bath for toddler W, they smell lush and remind me of the discontinued Body Shop range for children (anyone else remember them?!)

Baby S has been trying out a range of nappies… Pampers, Tesco, Asda and Aldi’s…. I’d never heard of ‘Moony Japanese nappies’ til they got in touch to see if we wanted to try them….
First impressions were good – the packaging is awesome! So different to the way British nappies are packaged, it looked quirky to me but I guess this is normal packaging in Japan lol!

Today it was eerily quiet in the house, apart from baby S’s cries and coos… W was back with the childminder on her return from holiday….
It means that I’d had both boys home with me for over a week, on my own apart from the weekend when my OH was home…
I have no idea how stay-at-home-parents cope – I was utterly exhausted by the end of it!

Baby S turned 3 months old and dare I say it (*jinxes everything*) he finally got a bit easier…
He’s a delicate little flower, with feeding and weight issues taking over his first month, and a hospital stay for a cold as he turned two months old. He’s always suffered quite bad wind (and a bit of constipation) and he’s been almost colicky – with some days lots of screaming including twice when I tried taking him to classes and gave up!
